报告摘要:

    能源化利用和碳捕获及碳增值转化是“双碳”背景下废水处理研究的热点和发展方向。针对目前废水处理行业能耗高、直接和间接碳排放量大的问题,基于对合成生物学、生物电化学和光电化学的交叉融合,提出多种微生物-材料杂合界面理论及解析界面电子传递机制,构建了不同尺度的反应系统,在处理有机废水过程中回收有机物化学能,并结合其他可再生能源(如太阳能),共同驱动转化CO2、废弃有机碳、重金属等多种污染物为高价值含化合物,实现同步治污和碳减排及碳增值转化。同时在城市尺度,对废水处理工业厂-网-河的碳排放量进行实际监测和核算,在获取的碳排放格局基础上,提出废水处理行业在“双碳”目标约束下的最优资源化路径。


报告人简介:

    路璐,现为哈尔滨工业大学(深圳)教授/博导,院长助理,国家海外高层次人才(青年项目)。2012年获哈尔滨工业大学环境科学与工程专业博士学位,并于同年赴美工作。2020年从美国普林斯顿大学(副研究员,独立PI)回国。入选“深圳市孔雀团队”、“深圳市海外高层次人才”。主要研究方向为:低(零)碳污水处理与资源化,水-能源-碳系统关联,城市水系统碳排放及碳汇格局。主持多项国家和省市级科研项目。曾主持和参与美国国家科学基金及企业项目6项,累积科研经费超过2百万美元。获黑龙江省科学技术一等奖、环境保护科学技术一等奖、美国华裔环境工程与科学教授协会最佳论文奖、中国教育部学术新人奖等。发表SCI论文80余篇,以第一作者在Nature Sustainability,Joule,Energy & Environmental Science,Environmental Science & Technology,Water Research上发表论文20余篇,ESI 1%高引用论文3篇。著作1部,中美授权专利4项。生物电化学低温产氢研究曾入选Nature杂志哈工大建校100周年特刊标志性成果,其它研究成果被中美主流媒体,如《科学时报》、英国皇家化学学会网站、美国国家科学基金网站、ScienceDaily、The Engineering等报道。研发的多项技术已被多家世界知名公司,如美国雪佛龙(Chevron)能源技术公司用于现场中试。担任3本SCI期刊和1本中文核心期刊的编委或青年编委。

About the speaker

Lu Lu works as a full professor of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering since 2019. Lu obtained the doctorate degree of Environmental Science and Technology in 2012 from Harbin Institute of Technology. Prof. Lu’s researches focus on Water-Energy-Carbon nexus including the resource and energy recovery during environmental remediation process, solar driven wastes (CO2) to chemicals, carbon mitigation for urban water ecosystem, and solar-thermal Interfacial evaporation. These researches employ microbiology, electrochemistry, synthetic biology, AI/machining learning and system engineering tools to understand the fundamental mechanisms. Prof. Lu was awarded the “First Prize of Science and Technology for Environment Protection” by Ministry of Ecology and Environment of P.R. China (2021), “First Prize of Natural Science of Heilongjiang Province” by Heilongjiang Province People's Government (2020), and “Best paper award” by Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Science (CAPEES) (2019). Lu has published more than 80 papers on the top-level journals of environment and energy including Nature Sustainability (IF27.157), Joule (IF46.048), Energy & Environmental Science (IF39.714), Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, etc. Several papers are the ESI 1% top cited ones. Other achievements by Lu include one published book, more than 20 authorized patent of United States and P.R. China.
